This video was created by Sankofa Danzafro, under the artistic direction of Rafael Palacios Callejas, with script and research by Carlos Correa Angulo. It shows the dance company rehearsing for and talking about a dance performance called Detrás del Sur (Behind the South), which is a homage to the Afro-Colombian writer, Manuel Zapata Olivella.

It shows two Mapuche women, Catalina and Feliciana, in the kitchen of a rural home, preparing an herbal remedy to cure Don Martiniano, a Mapuche longko (chief), who is ill.
