Tile from the Corn Exchange, Manchester

Rescued from Carcanet’s bomb damaged office in the Corn Exchange, this tile has sat on General Editor Michael Schmidt’s desk ever since. It acts a reminder of a major moment in Manchester and Carcanet’s history.

Michael Schmidt, John McAuliffe, and Jessica Smith discuss some of the items featured in this exhibition, including the tile from the Manchester Corn Exchange.
