About
This exhibition celebrates the culmination of the Rylands’ project to catalogue and digitise its important collection of manuscripts written in Hebrew script, which began in 1992. View the detailed catalogue records together with the digital images on Manchester Digital Collections.
Most objects featuring in the exhibition are from the John Rylands Research Institute and Library’s Hebrew manuscripts collection, however in a few cases, they are accompanied with relevant material from other institutions.
